Julien started racing when he was 14 in France (Corsica) by participating in the Famous Corsica Rally. He was the youngest person to ever win the category Group N. In his first year as a pro, he took 2nd place in the Formula Campus. At the age of 21, Julien moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and stunt driving and soon realized that the only thing he wanted to do, was pursue his passion for race car driving.
